Jets rookie outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins sustained an apparent calf injury in practice on Monday.
Jordan Jenkins helped off the field. Trainers looking at him. He walked off, being evaluated now.

It apparently is nothing to be overly concerned about.
I'm told Jordan Jenkins' calf injury is "nothing serious." Not expected to miss much, if any, time. #Jets https://t.co/SdeppniUYC

Jenkins seems to be having a strong training camp and is quite possibly in line to be starting against the Bengals in Week 1 of the regular season.
In an ideal world, he will be ready for Saturday's game against the Giants. As a general rule of thumb, I like to see rookies get lots of reps in preseason when it is possible. His health is more important, though. The top priority should be to get him ready for the regular season.
