The Jets are in their final few days of training camp. The team returned to the practice field yesterday after Friday night's preseason loss to Washington. There is another practice today scheduled to start at 2:20 Eastern.
The Jets are not only approaching the end of training camp in 2016. They also approach the third preseason game, which is viewed as the most important one. It is considered a dress rehearsal for the regular season as teams typically play their starters into the third quarter and install game plans as though it is a regular season game. The Jets play the Giants on Saturday night at MetLife Stadium in that third preseason game as they usually do.
