Jets vs. Redskins Game Thread

Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets take the field tonight in Washington (Landover, Maryland) for their second preseason game.

Gang Green took its preseason opener against Jacksonville by a 17-13 score. Of course, score does not really matter when it comes to preseason. It is more about how individual players are looking and developing. The game against Jacksonville provided some positives and some negatives. The guys who played well will look to build on it. The guys who played poorly will look to bounce back.

Tonight's game is also the last real chance fringe players on the 75 man cut bubble have to make an impression. The roster goes from 90 to 75 after the third preseason game, but fringe players won't see much time in that one since the starters play into the second half.
