Jets Roster Analysis: Introducing Bryson Keeton

As we approach the 2016 season, we are going to profile the players on the roster. Today we look at Bryson Keeton.

Name: Bryson Keeton

Number: 37

Year With Jets: 1st

Projected Role: Competing for cornerback spot

His 2015: Keeton closed out his college career by playing 10 games with Montana State. The transfer from Nevada was undrafted and initially unsigned. He had to come to tryout for the Jets but impressed enough to earn a contract and a spot in training camp.

2016 will be a success if: Keeton makes the practice squad and sticks. This is purely a long-term developmental player. Coming from a small school, he will have to adjust to the far superior level of competition and refine his technique along the way. He probably is at least two years away from making a contribution on defense if he ever will.

Odds of making the roster: Longshot (less than 25%)
