The Jets have signed first round pick Darron Lee a day before the first practice of training camp.
Jets and first-round pick Darron Lee reached agreement, per source. Only two unsigned first-round picks now remain.

Darron Lee's 4-yr, $10.2 M deal fully gtd, but includes default language that allows #Jets to recoup some of gtd $ if cut for non-fbl reason

This means the Jets essentially gave Lee what he wanted.
I am glad to see the Jets come around. This standoff wasn't about money. The terms of the deal were largely set by the rookie wage scale. This was about whether a small fraction of this contract was guaranteed. There are times in contract negotiations to hold firm. This was not one of them. This was a minor point in the contract, hardly worth having the first round pick start camp late.
