NY Jets: Notes From OTAs

The Jets are finally engaged in some football activities, even if it's without pads and without contact.  Some miscellaneous notes from today's OTAs.

• The first three players on the field for the Jets were Geno Smith, Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg.
• Players not in attendance: Ryan Fitzpatrick and Muhammad Wilkerson, because neither one is under contract at the moment.  Also missing: Nick Mangold, Darrelle Revis, Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker.
  
• Notable participant without a contract: first round selection Darron Lee.
• On the sidelines for medical reasons:  Zac Stacy (broken foot), Khiry Robinson (broken leg), Devin Smith (torn ACL), Wesley Johnson (wrist injury).
• First QB observation: Hackenberg missing several throws high.
• First pass dropped: Jace Amaro.

That's it so far.  Feel free to celebrate or panic as the observations warrant.
