May 16 through 19, the NFL is conducting a broadcast boot camp to train current and former players to enter the world of broadcasting. This is the tenth year the NFL is conducting such a camp. It will be conducted at NFL Films headquarters in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

Jets wide receiver Eric Decker is among the participants. Decker's receiving partner Brandon Marshall has already broken into the world of broadcasting, and Decker might be looking to follow in his footsteps.

This camp will have numerous sessions to train players for various aspects of the world of broadcasting. Decker and his colleagues will be taping simulated broadcasts as game analysts and field reporters. They will receive instruction and feedback from current broadcasters.

Former Jets guard Willie Colon will also be among the participants, as will former Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards.

Six participants in this camp will be selected for an Advanced Broadcasting program.
