Per Adam Schefter:
Denver has agreed to trade four-time Pro-Bowl OT Ryan Clady and a 7th-round pick to the Jets for a 5th-round pick, league sources told ESPN.

The trade was apparently in the works for some time.
Jets and Broncos have been working on the Ryan Clady deal for over a week, in anticipation of D'Brickashaw Ferguson's retirement.

This wasn't a spur-of-the-moment trade. Jets began working on Clady deal as soon as they learned of Brick's plans last week. #nyj

Clady's current contract would essentialy wipe out the savings the Jets accrued from D'Brickashaw Ferguson's retirement, but the deal will apparently be reworked at a lower cost.
Clady expected to sign a new deal with Jets. Has two years, $19.5M left on existing contract. #nyj
