Cumberland spent six seasons with the Jets after signing as an undrafted free agent from Illinois in 2010. He was a starter for the last three years but became a cap casualty.
Although Cumberland's playing time increased through the years, his level of play never really did. He was always a bottom of the league blocker. Despite some terrific athletic traits, he never turned into much of a receiving option. Cumberland never even caught 30 passes in a single season with the Jets or had even 400 yards or 5 touchdowns. Should Jets fans be disappointed that Cumberland never developed or just happy that an undrafted free agent lasted for six seasons? \
