Aaron Leming of Scout.com's Bear Report names the Bears as a potential trade partner with the Jets for defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson.
#Bears have checked in w/ the #Jets more than once on Wilkerson. So have a few teams. This won't be a quick trade. Revolves around draft day

Make no mistake, #Bears have interest in Wilkerson. W/ that being said, multiple other teams do too. Likely to see movement closer to draft.

Mike Maccagnan and Bears general manager Ryan Pace do have a history of working together. They worked out the trade that sent Brandon Marshall to New York a year ago. Chicago also could use a lineman like Wilkerson, making them a realistic trade partner.
I do not get the feeling this situation is anywhere near a conclusion. Wilkerson would probably have to work out a contract with a new team before any trade could go through.
