Paxton Lynch, Leonard Floyd, and Jack Conklin Among Mock Draft Picks for the Jets

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

We are in the home stretch before the 2016 NFL Draft. Who will the Jets take?

Dan Kadar (SB Nation)

20. New York Jets: Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis

Even if the Jets bring back Ryan Fitzpatrick, they would be smart to draft Lynch if he's available at pick No. 20. His long-term upside is too good to pass up.

Peter King (MMQB)

20. New York Jets: Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State. Versatile player (tackle/guard) who would fit at four of the five line positions. NFL teams love his personality, after he walked on at Michigan State and worked his way up to a top-three ranking among 47 offensive linemen in terms of athleticism at the combine. I toyed with putting Connor Cook here, but I think the Jets still think Ryan Fitzpatrick’s their quarterback for at least one more year, and they have bigger needs to fill, including the void left by the retirement of D’Brickashaw Ferguson.

Rob Rang (CBS)

20. New York Jets

Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia: With explosive edge rushers Miller and Demarcus Ware mitigating Tom Brady's quick passes in the AFC Championship Game, the Broncos provided the rest of the NFL a manual on how to beat the New England Patriots. Adding a speed rusher like Floyd to complement an already stout defensive line could be exactly what the Jets need to end the Patriots' supremacy in the AFC East.

20. New York Jets

Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis: If Lynch is still available at this point in the first round, pick No. 20 could be the sweet spot for a trade ... unless the Jets, who brought the Memphis quarterback in for a visit, see the future of the franchise with Lynch.
