The NFL has announced that it will release the schedule for the 2016 regular season tonight. NFL Network will be hosting a show at 8:00 p.m. Eastern where it will be unveiled.
In case you were worried, this NFL Network special would be a ludicrous, overhyped event, have no fear. This is going to be a three hour special where they break down the schedule. Of course, we have known every team's opponents since the regular season ended so all they are unveiling tonight is the order in which these teams will play.
The 2016 opponents for the Jets are as follows:
Home: Buffalo, Miami, New England, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Seattle, Indianapolis
Away: Buffalo, Miami, New England, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Arizona, San Francisco, Kansas City
This year the Jets play home and home against the other AFC East teams, and one game apiece against the NFC West, the AFC North, and fellow AFC second place finishers Kansas City and Indianapolis.
