Even though the Jets traded for Ryan Clady, there still is a need on the offensive line. The team is eventually going to need to open up more salary cap space, and cutting Breno Giacomini would create a relative large amount of cap space. Giacomini's performance also merits a potential upgrade.
Spriggs is viewed as a potential early pick. Some mocks have suggested he is a fringe first round pick, possibly the fifth tackle off the board in the upcoming Draft.
