Mike Mayock Position Rankings: Noah Spence Falls at Edge Rusher

Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

Mike Mayock revised his position rankings for the NFL Draft a few days back. Many mock drafts have the Jets grabbing an edge rusher with their first round pick. There is good reason. The team has a need at the critical position.

Mayock's latest position rankings have frequent Jets mock selection Noah Spence falling to fourth at edge rusher. Shaq Lawson moves up to number three. Leonard Floyd, another popular pick for the Jets is second behind Joey Bosa of Ohio State.

The other popular position for the Jets is tackle. The Ryan Clady trade makes the need a bit less pronounced, but the team still needs a major infusion of young talent up front. Jack Conklin and Taylor Decker are currently third and fourth behind Laremy Tunsil and Ronnie Stanley.
