It looks like the New York Jets will lose another free agent. According to NFLN's Rand Getlin, DT Damon Harrison has agreed to sign with the New York Giants.
I’m told DL Damon Harrison has earned and agreed in principle to a five-year, $46.25M deal with the #Giants. Massive get for the G-Men.

The deal will be worth over $9 million per year:
Harrison’s deal is worth $9.25M per year with $24M guaranteed and $30M over the first three years. Fantastic deal for a fantastic player.

Harrison was an undrafted free agent out of William Penn in 2012. He got his first chance to start in 2013 and never left the lineup, developing into one of the game's premier run stopping defensive linemen.
This will probably work out better for the G-Men than their signing of another former Gang Green DT Kenrick Ellis.
