New York Jets free agency 2016: News, rumors, signings, updates, more for Friday

The Jets have a new cornerback. It is Darryl Morris, who spent the last two seasons with the Texans.

The NFL quarterback market has also seen a significant move. Robert Griffin III signed with the Browns. It always felt like another domino or two was going to need to fall to get the Ryan Fitzpatrick situation moving forward. Griffin signing with Cleveland might be that domino. It takes the Browns out of the Colin Kaepernick discussion. Denver is now the only team with rumored interest, although that is always subject to change. If Kaepernick is traded to Denver, it leaves Fitzpatrick without much of an alternative. The timeframe for some sort of resolution is not clear, but we might be getting closer to one.
