The owners' meetings have concluded in Boca Raton. The league has adopted a number of rule changes. The most notable of these is placing the ball at the 25 yard line on kickoffs.
From the Jets' perspective, things picked up a bit on Wednesday. The team agreed to terms with linebacker Erin Henderson, bringing back a free agent and filling a hole at inside linebacker at an affordable price. Henderson became a bigger part of the defense late in the 2015 season and played pretty well. The Jets had nobody to start next to David Harris with Demario Davis already signed by the Browns.
There is no news on either Muhammad Wilkerson or Ryan Fitzpatrick. Despite all of the speculation, these situations remain in limbo with few signs they will be resolved in the near future.
