Griffin visited the Jets a week ago, but there have been no reports a contract was offered.
The former Washington quarterback might be one of the Jets' top backup options in the event Ryan Fitzpatrick signs elsewhere. Negotiations with Fitzpatrick have been stalled for weeks with the Jets and the quarterback reportedly not close to a deal.
