The Jets had free agent wide receiver Chris Givens in for a visit earlier this week. Today he signed with the Eagles.

WR Chris Givens' one-year deal with the Eagles is for $760k. So if he produces, that's good value.

As you can probably tell from my post last night, I am not exactly broken up about the Jets losing out on Givens. He seems like a fringe roster. The longer he has been in the league, the less productive he has gotten. While he does have experience returning kickoffs, which is a need area for the Jets, the results have been underwhelming.
I do not think signing Givens would have been any great gain. I do not think missing out on him is any great loss.
