New York Jets free agency 2016: News, rumors, signings, updates, more for Monday

Free agency in the NFL is now days old.

For the Jets, the focus remains the quarterback position. Matters with Ryan Fitzpatrick are exactly where they have been. There is no indication the Jets have increased their offer to the quarterback. There is no indication the quarterback has lowered his demands. There is also no indication that another team is interested in those demands.

All has been quiet otherwise for the Jets since their initial flurry of running back signings. A few targets such as tight end Jermaine Gresham signed elsewhere.  I can only assume the Jets are not finished in free agency. I would not necessarily expect many big money signings, but there might be a player here or there who can provide an upgrade at an affordable price.
