Free agent tight end Jermaine Gresham has re-signed with the Arizona Cardinals. He had drawn interest from the Jets.
TE Jermaine Gresham is re-signing with the #AZCardinals, source said. He's taking less to stay.

The #Jets and #Bears both offered TE Jermaine Gresham strong 4-year deals. He opted to go back to AZ on one-year deal and reset his market.

Before the offseason began, Gresham was a guy I was watching. He seemed like a low cost guy who could really help the Jets at the tight end position. Although Gresham has always been a bit of an underachiever relative to his first round Draft status, he had a number of solid seasons with the Bengals before moving to Arizona last season. The Jets will have to go in another direction to upgrade at tight end in 2016.
