Adam Schefter reports the Broncos and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had discussions, but the free agent's asking price is too high for Denver at the moment.

That seems to have been the case for the Jets as well.
Over the last few days, I have come to think that the Fitzpatrick saga is going to take some time to play itself out. He is likely going to come to the realization that the market will not pay him what he wants. My guess is at the end of the day, he will end up back with the Jets. The two sides both want to strike something. The Jets do not seem serious about any of the alternatives on the market. Then again, free agency is very unpredictable.
