Jason LaCanfora reports Jets defensive lineman Damon Harrison is likely to test the waters of free agency.
Would be beyond stunned if Snacks Harrison does not hit the market based on what i'm hearing. Would take major reversal over the next week

This is not exactly a shocker. Harrison also has a chance to set himself up financially for life after playing on a relatively small contract during the first few years of his career.
It is not necessarily a foregone conclusion that Harrison is leaving the Jets, though.
I'm told NYJ believe their offer to Damon Harrison will be "competitive." Obviously, they hope to re-sign him.

Welcome to the offseason, where reports constantly conflict.
It is difficult to not see the Harrison and Muhammad Wilkerson situations as interrelated. The Jets presumably are not going to be willing to lose both. If they do not bring Harrison back into the fold, a trade of Wilkerson would probably become less likely. If they bring back Harrison at a big number, a trade might be more likely.
