The Jets have agreed to terms with a pass rusher from the CFL.
Jets and CFL standout LB Freddie Bishop -- who visited 7 NFL teams -- just reached agreement on two-year deal, per source.

Bishop had 11 sacks a year ago for the Calgary Stampeders.
The Jets also announced yesterday that they have signed a kicker to a reserve/future contract. He was undrafted out of Western Michigan in 2013.

Nick Folk is a potential cap casualty for the Jets, but I tend to doubt the Jets are bringing in Brindza with the idea he will replace Folk. In a brief stint with Tampa Bay last season, he was an abysmal 6 for 12 on field goal attempts. He also only made 6 of 8 extra point attempts. This is not a player likely to make the roster unless he shows dramatic improvement with an offseason of work under his belt.
Brindza was undrafted out of Notre Dame last season. Before his stint with the Buccaneers, he spent time with the Detroit Lions.,
