NFL Combine 2016 Begins Today

New, comments
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Today is the first day of the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. Specialists, offensive linemen, and running backs arrive. Do not expect a tremendous amount of news, though. They are arriving, getting a few basic medical exams, and otherwise orienting themselves. These guys will be the first to hit the drills, but that will not be until Thursday, and it will be the bench press. This crew does its positional workouts and on field drills starting Friday.

This certainly will be a group to watch as the week progresses in Indianapolis. The Jets need help in all three areas. The team might be looking at a new kicker and punter. Zac Stacy is the only running back under contract, and the offensive line is in need of both youth and talent.

Which players in these position groups are you keeping your eye on? Who do you think needs a big effort this week?
