NFL Mock Draft 2016: Will the Jets Go Linebacker Early?

Here is a look at the latest mock drafts and the players they have the Jets selecting.

LB, Ohio State

Lee is not the prototypical edge rusher that the Jets need to find. What he is, though, is a gifted athlete who can play inside when New York runs a three-man front or step outside in a 4–3 base. Oh, and he did notch 11.0 sacks between 2014 and ’15, showing a nice burst when Ohio State turned him loose as a blitzer.

DE/OLB, Michigan State

Eddie Brown (San Diego Union Tribune)

20. N.Y. Jets (10-6) – Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio St., Jr.

There's little doubt Elliott will be the first running back taken – assuming Leonard Fournette doesn't sue the NFL. He brings big-play ability, is an effective receiver out of the backfield and has proven to be outstanding in pass protection.
