The Jets suffered a humiliating defeat last night to the Indianapolis Colts. Indy won the game 41-10. The Jets were never really in the game from the opening kickoff. It was that kind of night.
On our postgame podcast, I discuss some of the things that went wrong for the Jets. There were a lot, and ultimately I think you have to put such a colossal failure to a large extent on the coaching. Everything that could have gone wrong seemed to go wrong from execution breakdowns to a lack of discipline. Does this mean the job status of Todd Bowles will become a topic of conversation over the final four weeks? It probably does. Should Bowles pay for this performance with his job? I'm less certain of that.
