As best I can, I try to avoid overly emotional assessments of games. I don’t think there’s any other way I can describe the first half the Jets just played against the Colts, though.
It was an absolutely pathetic display of football. The team didn’t look like it came out ready to play. A number of guys on the team didn’t look like they cared to the point of the ESPN announcers questioning the effort. There were blown assignments all over the field on both sides of the ball, and three personal foul penalties. The Jets embarrassed themselves and their fans in the first half. The Colts take a 24-3 lead to the locker room, and it would have been 31-3 if not for a big time hustle play by Rontez Miles forcing a fumble on what should have been another touchdown.
Leave your second half thoughts below if you want to stick around.
