SNF: Panthers vs Seahawks Game Thread

Sunday Night Football, Week 13. Tonight we have an NFC matchup between the 4-7 Carolina Panthers and the 7-3-1 Seattle Seahawks. In a rematch of last year's divisional round NFC playoff game the Panthers travel across the country to CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington to take on the Seahawks.

The Seahawks come into the game having won three of their last four and with a perfect 5-0 record in Seattle. Seattle is led by star quarterback Russell Wilson, who has been hobbled by injuries this year and is suffering through a bit of a down year for him. Seattle also features the always rugged Legion of Boom defense, currently ranked first in the NFL in points allowed.

The Panthers are led by star quarterback Cam Newton, last year's first team All Pro quarterback and reigning NFL MVP. Newton is having perhaps the worst year of his career in 2016. The Panthers come into this game having gone 1-4 on the road this season, and are already all but eliminated from playoff contention after making it to the Super Bowl last year.
