The Jets haven’t done a whole lot right this season. They definitely did get one thing right, however, as the team voted on its awards this week.
Every year the team picks one player as its most inspirational player. The award is named after Dennis Byrd, the Jets legend.
Instead of choosing an active player, the team gave the award to Dennis Byrd who died in a car accident in October.
Angela Byrd, Dennis’ wife, had the following to say.
