The Buffalo Bills are benching starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor for Sunday's season finale against the Jets, and it is a financial decision.
The thought of watching this game just keeps getting less and less appealing.
This seems like good news for those of you who want to win, and bad news for those of you who are hoping the Jets lose for better Draft position.
Manuel was the first quarterback selected in the 2013 Draft. The Bills traded up to get him. He has not been the regular starter for Buffalo, however, since early in the 2014 season when he was benched for Kyle Orton. After Orton retired, the starting job was once again there for the taking, but Manuel lost a position battle to Taylor and has only made a handful of appearances since.
Manuel's last start for Buffalo was a 34-31 loss a year ago to the Jaguars in a London game.
