Jets vs Patriots Game Day Forecast

Ed Mulholland-USA TODAY Sports

On Saturday afternoon, December 24, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. EST the New York Jets will take on the New England Patriots in Foxboro, Massachusetts.  The weather in Foxboro will be a bit of a mess.  About a quarter inch of rain is forecast for Saturday in Foxboro.  The rain should begin around 9:00 a.m. and taper off to showers before ending around 3:00 p.m.  At the beginning of the game it will be raining, with 10 mph winds out of the south southwest. Temperatures at the start of the game will be in the low 40s and should stay there throughout the game.  By the second half of the game the rain should taper off and end.  This shapes up as a chilly, wet, sloppy day to play football, and a miserable afternoon in Foxboro for the fans in the stands.

For those watching on TV it will be balmy and comfortable on the couch, with no non-anthropogenic wind and a zero percent chance of precipitation, but a high probability of humiliation.

Enjoy the game everybody.
