MNF: Panthers vs Redskins Game Thread

Monday Night Football, Week 15. Tonight we have an NFC matchup at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland. The 5-8 Carolina Panthers, surprisingly still clinging to faint playoff hopes, travel north to take on the 7-5-1 Washington Redskins, who will move into the sixth and final AFC playoff spot with a win over the Panthers.

The disappointing Panthers come into the game having rebounded a bit from a dreadful 1-5 start to the season. The Panthers have won four of their last seven, but it is probably too little, too late for last year's NFC champions. The Redskins also got off to a bit of a rocky start this year with losses in their first two games, but they have rebounded with only three losses in their last eleven games.

Nearly every game from this point on has playoff implications of some kind. It's the best time of the year if your team is still in contention. For Jets fans it's still an opportunity to watch some quality football for a change.
