Jets vs Dolphins Game Day Forecast

On Saturday night, December 17, 2016 at 8:25 p.m. EST the New York Jets will take on the Miami Dolphins at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.  The weather in East Rutherford will be a bit of a mess.  Several inches of slushy snow are forecast to accumulate earlier in the day, with the precipitation changing to all rain prior to game time.  By game time the rain will have diminished to a few scattered showers.  The game will take place in a cold miserable foggy showery mess, with a light breeze out of the south at about 3 miles per hour. Temperatures will slowly rise through the low 40s throughout the game.  This shapes up as a sloppy mess of a field at the stadium for the players, and an absolutely miserable night in cold foggy showery conditions for the fans.

For those watching on TV it will be balmy and comfortable on the couch, with no non-anthropogenic wind and a zero percent chance of precipitation, but a high probability of futility.
