MNF: Ravens vs Patriots Game Thread

Monday Night Football, Week 14. Tonight we have an excellent AFC matchup between the 7-5 Baltimore Ravens and the 10-2 New England Patriots. The Ravens travel to Gillette Stadium in chilly Foxboro, Massachusetts to take on the AFC East division leaders.

This game has major playoff implications for both teams. Baltimore needs to win to keep pace for the AFC North division lead, while New England is fighting to retain a one game lead in the race for the AFC number one seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Ravens haven't had much regular season success against the Patriots, with a 1-7 all time record against New England in the regular season. Most of the games have been tight, but the Patriots almost always have found a way to win. The playoffs are another matter. The Ravens have met the Patriots four times in the playoffs, each time in Foxboro. Very few teams have had much success against the Brady Bunch in Foxboro in January, but the Ravens have not been intimidated. Their playoff record against the Patriots stands at 2-2.

If any team stands a decent chance at pulling the upset in Foxboro in a late season game it's the Ravens. We'll see if Joe Flacco and company can deliver the goods tonight.

Enjoy the game everybody. As always we ask that you neither provide illegal streaming links nor ask for them.
