FOX has a doubleheader while CBS will broadcast one game to each region today.
If you live in the New York area, you will see:
Redskins at Eagles early on FOX
Seahawks at Packers late on FOX
Jets at 49ers late on CBS
Greg Gumbel and Trent Green will be on the microphone for the 4:05 Eastern kickoff.
CBS has to show a game in either the early or the late timeslot today. Because many teams play an early home game on FOX, CBS cannot show a game in those markets at the same time due to league rules. That means CBS has to show these cities a late game. Since Jets-49ers is the only late game CBS is showing, this game will be seen in more markets than you might expect, including Philadelphia, Jacksonville, Charlotte, and Miami.
