In the first half, the Jets offense seemed like it was failing at every turn. In the second half, despite mistakes the Jets just plain starting executing better. Receivers were hit in stride, balls were caught and the line opened up some holes.
On defense, it was a bit more complicated. The Jets switched defenses going away from the first half plan. Instead they relied more on a zone that is usually used on 3rd and longs rather than on first or second down.
We’ll talk Ryan Fitzpatrick, Darrelle Revis, Matt Forte, Bilal Powell and the rest of the second half in this edition of the Locked on Jets podcast.
