Locked On Jets Podcast #48: First Half Review

Shutdown corner Revis is no more, but is there a reason for his lack of success? Speaking of the lack of success, the offense looked horrible early, but was it all bad?

Darrelle Revis is an interesting case study in decline and expectations. Every week it seems the Jets roll him out there with no help and are shocked when he gets beat. However, after review of the film, there’s reasons why he was getting beat that aren’t entirely his fault.

On offense, I was among those clamoring for a change at half. Watching the film from a different view helped me realize that Fitzpatrick may not have been as awful as his statline would suggest. It may be a case of decent or good process, just poor results.

I’ll tackle this and more including Calvin Pryor in the first half review on this edition of the Locked On Jets Podcast. If you haven’t like/subscribe and tell a friend.
