Should Fans Root for the Jets to Lose to Improve Their Draft Position?

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets are having a rough season. Around this point during any rough season, a debate typically starts in the fanbase about whether it would be better for the team to lose games and improve its draft position. That is the topic of today's podcast. Is it better for a team to continue winning games, or will it help the future to lose and perhaps end up with a better player? There are compelling arguments for and against it.

One thing is clear. It is an academic argument. Fans can choose whether they want to root for wins and losses, but this has no impact on the actual games. Players and coaches are going to do everything in their power to win and with good reason. Tune into the show to hear why.
