Even With A QB Change, Jets Lose

Bryce Petty wasn’t enough to spark the offense as they only manage one touchdown. What do you do now?

NFL: Los Angeles Rams at New York Jets Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Jets lost another crap-tacular game against the Los Angeles Rams. Bryce Petty started at quarterback and the Jets fans for one week were happy to see what they had. Far from silencing critics, he played well early and struggled at times.

On the other side of the ball, the defense only gave up nine points but failed to get stops in the second half. Darrelle Revis was targeted by the Rams early and often, while the defensive line failed to get much of a push themselves without blitzing.

We recap the loss in the Locked On Jets podcast, plus touch on what the Jets should be doing going forward.
