Sunday Night Football, week 10. Tonight we have a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX. The Seattle Seahawks travel across the country to take on the New England Patriots in one of the best prime time games of the year.
The AFC East division leading Patriots come into the game with a 7-1 record. The Patriots are led by all time great quarterback Tom Brady, having perhaps the best year of his storied career. The Patriots have yet to throw a single interception in the 2016 season. Brady is completing a ridiculous 73% of his passes, is averaging 330 passing yards per game, and has an incredible 134 passer rating. Since Brady returned from his four game suspension the Patriots have won four straight games, all by double digit margins. This Patriots team right now is an absolute juggernaut.
Countering the Patriots are the NFC West leading Seattle Seahawks, with a 5-2-1 record. The Seahawks are led by star quarterback Russell Wilson and a defense which is perenially among the league's best. The Seahawks defense has been hurt the last few games by the absence of safety Cam Chancellor, who has been injured. Chancellor is expected to suit up and play in this game, returning the Seahawks defense to full strength.
Will the Seahawks defense be able to slow down the so far unstoppable Patriots offense? Will Russell Wilson and the Seahawks offense be able to take advantage of what has been a bend but don't break Patriots defense? This could be one of the best games of the year.
