The Steelers lead the Jets 14-13 at halftime.
The Jets started the game by driving down the field for an early field goal. The lead did not last long as Sammie Coates burned Marcus Williams for a long touchdown. The defense got some stops it needed and was not beaten on a fake field goal as the offense found a rhythm. Ryan Fitzpatrick has looked solid aside from a touchdown pass he threw. (What a weird sentence that is to write.) It should have been intercepted, but Brandon Marshall grabbed it away for a score. The defense then did allow a long scoring drive to give the Steelers the lead right before the half.
There were things to not like, but all things considered, it was a solid road half.
