How did the rest of the AFC East look in Week 4?
For the Miami Dolphins, the answer was “not good.” Miami kicked off the NFL weekend by losing to the Bengals 22-7 on Thursday night. A.J. Green went off for 173 yards and a touchdown on 10 catches. While Ryan Tannehill’s performance looks decent statistically, it was a rough night overall for the Miami offense as they only scored on a 74 yard first quarter touchdown.
The other two teams in the AFC East squared off, and the Buffalo Bills beat the New England Patriots 16-0 in Foxborough. The Patriots ran into a situation where they could not win a game with their third string quarterback because the Bills did not fumble away kickoff after kickoff the way the Texans did in Week 3. The good news for New England is Tom Brady will be back next week as his suspension ends. Having banked 3 wins without Brady, New England might have already closed the window on the division.
- New England 3-1
- Buffalo 2-2
- Jets 1-3
- Miami 1-3
