Jets vs. Seahawks Game Thread

The Jets are home today for a Week 4 game against the Seahawks.

New York really needs a win here. Part of it is the real threat of falling to 1-3. History shows teams that start 1-3 historically have a very difficult time making the Playoffs.

There is more to it, however. The Jets need to show they can defeat a quality opponent at home. They let an opportunity slip through their fingers three weeks ago against the Bengals. Now they get a Seattle team that is one of the league's most talented but also one that had to travel across the country for an early start with a quarterback who might be banged up. This is not an easy game by any stretch of the imagination, but if the Jets want to be a good team, they have to win some difficult games.
