Jets Week 6 Anti-Game Ball: Buster Skrine

NFL: New York Jets at Arizona Cardinals Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets lost again so it is time to give out another anti-game ball.

The rules of the anti-game ball are twofold. First, we try to avoid giving it to repeat winners whenever possible. Second, we try to avoid giving it to the quarterback whenever possible.

I want to give it to the offensive line because I feel like somebody on the offensive side of the ball should get the distinction, but I just cannot figure out a way to give it to anybody other than Buster Skrine.

Skrine was beaten left and right. He also whiffed a few times when he had a chance to make a tackle. He was also flagged four times. I know the officials were penalty happy, and at least one appeared to be a phantom call. Still, some of those were earned.

I think Skrine was the least effective player on the field for the Jets not named Ryan Fitzpatrick. For that, he gets my anti-game ball.

Who gets yours?
