Brady is Back With A Bang, Buffalo Rumbles On And The Dolphins Are In Trouble

The AFC East is taking shape, and it doesn't look good for the Jets

Week 5 Recap

Brady Bounces Back as New England Roll Past Cleveland

(Patriots 33-13 Browns)

If you thought Brady would be rusty following his 4 game suspension, you haven't watched a lot of football over the last 15 years. Brady did what Brady does. He carved the Browns open like a Christmas turkey and got to take a large portion of the 4th quarter off. I don't like it, but the Patriots look extremely clinical this year. The defence is back to being a dominant unit and Brady has a number of targets to choose from. If opponents want to bracket Gronk, then he'll just find Bennett, and he did just that yesterday for 3 touchdowns. An angry Brady isn't good for the AFC East and it's certainly not good for the rest of the league.

Bills Hit Form, Rumble Past Rams With Excellent Ground Game

(Bills 30-19 Rams)

It may be a new home for the Rams, but they look to be heading to a Jeff Fisher special, an 8-8 season. The Bills have been exceptional on the ground following the firing of Greg Roman and the promotion of former Jets coach Anthony Lynn to offensive coordinator. Under Roman they ran for 75.5 yards per game, under Lynn they are running for 178.3. Rex's defense looks active and far too fast for the likes of Case Keenum. The Bills have now won 3 straight games and find themselves riding the Rex Ryan momentum train, chances are it'll derail at some point, but you can't say they don't look good right now.

Dolphins Fail To Protect Or Pressure On Their Way To 1-4

(Titans 30-17 Dolphins)

The Dolphins look like a bad football team, just like the Jets. They've pledged allegiance to Ryan Tanehill, but it's becoming clearer by the week that he's not the answer. He's not getting much help from his offensive line as they surrendered 6 sacks on the day. With an anemic running game, a leaky offensive line and a defensive front that cost a bomb but is returning very little, the Dolphins won't win many games this year. The lone bright spot was Jakeem Grant returning a punt for a TD.
