Jets center Nick Mangold, originally a Pro Bowl alternate, has received a roster spot in place of Mike Pouncey. Pouncey suffered a foot injury late in the season.

This is the seventh Pro Bowl in Mangold's career. He joins Brandon Marshall, Darrelle Revis, and Muhammad Wilkerson as Jets who received Pro Bowl selections. Wilkerson will not be able to play after breaking his leg in the Jets' season finale against the Bills so the selection of Mangold gives the Jets three players in the game (as long as Marshall, Revis, and Mangold all decide and are able to play).
The Pro Bowl will be played on January 31, the Sunday before the Super Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Eastern on ESPN.
