Underclassmen Who Have Declared For Early Entry Into The 2016 NFL Draft

New, comments

A list of all the underclassmen who have already declared for early entry into the 2016 NFL Draft.

Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

The bitter taste of Sundays defeat will live on for a long time, but it's time to turn our attention to the off-season for the Jets, and a part of that is the NFL Draft. In 2014 a record number of underclassmen elected for early entry (98) which led to 36 underclassmen going undrafted. A year later only 74 players elected for early entry with 10 additional players becoming eligible following graduation. it marked the first time since 2009 that the number of underclassmen electing for early entry dropped from the previous year.

So far in 2016 71 players have said that they intend to leave college early for the NFL draft. Players have until January 18th to make their intentions clear, and a final list will be provided on January 22nd. I thought we'd kick our scouting the draft series stream off with a list of all those players who have said they will enter the 2016 NFL draft.
