Pro Bowl 2016: Will You Watch the Game?

Will you watch the Pro Bowl tonight?

It is a game that should serve as a great platform for the league on paper. The biggest stars get together to play a game. It frequently does not turn out that way.

Football is a game of emotion, and I think this is part of the reason the game frequently fails to produce quality play. There is nothing to get emotional about in this game. The stakes are not high. I am not even sure there are any stakes in this game. It is so meaningless that a lot of the top players simply skip it. It seems like this time of year there is an epidemic of injuries that stars sustain just at the point they have to decide whether or not to play in the Pro Bowl.

I usually say I am going to watch. I don't think I have ever been able to tune in for the entire game. How about you? Are you going to watch the Pro Bowl?
