Jets 2016 Opponents

The 2016 opponents for the Jets are set.

Each year, NFL opponents are determined the following way.

Six games against the team in your division, one home and one away against each team.

Four games against the teams from one division in your conference. Next year the Jets will play the four teams in the AFC North.

Four games against the teams from one division in the other conference. Next year the Jets will play the four teams in the NFC West.

Two games against the teams in your conference that finished in the same spot as you in the division standings. The Jets finished second place in the AFC East this season. Next season they will play the second place team from the AFC West, Kansas City and the AFC South, Indianapolis.
